Inside each wooden module, at ground level, are embedded several engravings made from a volcanic sand screening.
With this installation is intended to identify and classify the potential excavation where the sand is derived from, through the use and manipulation of one of the primary tools for the differentiation and division of local areas to analyze during an archaeological field research.
Thinking about the history of the map analogous to the Earth's surface, this engravings also acquire the role of manual abrasive tools enhancing an assistance to (their own) landscaping (terraplanagem).
